Home Care

Lakewood Health System Home Care provides help with nursing care, personal cares, household chores and a variety of other needs. Our Home Health Nurses help patients and family deal with all the necessary care they may require at home. This includes information about illnesses, self-care, medications and diet. The nurse monitors the condition of the patient and is in close contact with his or her physician.

Under the supervision of a nurse and/ or physical therapist, our Home Health Assistant Service helps people with bathing, grooming, personal laundry, meal preparation, light housekeeping and exercise.

The Homemaker Service is available for anyone who is presently receiving assistant level services to aid in household chores. Other specialized options are available. Our staff can arrange for these services based on individual needs.
