Our Respiratory Therapy Department is staffed with a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner and under the direction of a physician, treats respiratory illnesses such as Asthma, Emphysema, Chronic Bronchitis, and Pneumonia as well as many other respiratory ailments. The department’s scope of care includes, but is not limited to:
- Respiratory and oxygen therapy
- Airway management and resuscitation
- Diagnostic testing and monitoring
- Mechanical Ventilation
- Pulmonary Function Testing

A Pulmonologist from CentraCare regularly visits Lakewood Health System. Consultation, treatment, and diagnostic testing are available for pulmonary diseases including:

- Congenital Malformations of the Lung
