CentraCare Digestive Center and Lakewood Health System have partnered to offer the following procedures:
Colonoscopy
An examination of the large bowel (or colon). Tissue samples can be obtained and polyps or small growths can be removed during the procedure.
Gastroscopy or Upper Endoscopy
flexible tube is passed through the patient’s mouth into the esophagus, stomach and upper portion of the small intestine. The doctor is able to take tissue samples during this procedure. A patient is referred for testing by their primary physician.
