Dr. Halfen and his wife Kris have six children and three grandchildren. He and his family enjoy fishing, skiing, scuba diving and many other activities that keep them active. He also enjoys hockey and playing the piano.

Dr. Halfen is a family medicine physician and Lakewood Health System’s Medical Director. He has a special interest in geriatric healthcare and in the development of preventative care initiatives for all ages along with Pediatrics/OB.
